Insights and guidance on allowing change and a new beginning to manifest naturally, without force.

New beginnings aren't easy.
When we find ourselves considering a change or starting something new in our lives, as 'intelligent' beings we tend to want to 'think it through', or 'mull it over'.
The problem is that in 'thinking', we create more confusion, stress and worry.
In 'thinking' we allow the ego to come in and attack our plans and ideas with the constant barrage of 'what if's': What if it doesn't work? What if I don't like it? What if it fails?
Allowing this toxic cocktail of thoughts to swirl around in your head makes way for all of the doubts that tend to arise, which can then pave the way to procrastination - it's a vicious cycle!
As the complicated humans that we are, we tend to spend more time listening to our thoughts and overthinking (which is actually the ego rationalising what it thinks we 'should' or 'shouldn't' do), rather than listening to our intuition and soul.
"The next step is easy, continuing on the path is the hard part. You will face struggles, internal and external, adversity, mistrust, anger, but these are all obstacles that you will pass, and be all the more strong for coming through. "
If you're considering making a change in your life, starting something new or taking a plunge into a 'new beginning' one of the best things you can do....is nothing.
Wait, what?! I get it...this sounds counterproductive, for sure.
No doubt your ego is already screaming at the screen as you read this: "What? But that's stupid! How can you just do nothing?

Allow me to explain...
In making the decision to consider this new beginning, and big change, you most likely would have already had many thoughts on the subject. Scenarios and little movies have been playing in your head for days, or weeks even. You've thought about the how, when, what, where, and why, and no doubt you've considered almost everything...
In doing all of this thinking, how much feeling have you done? How do you feel when you just sit quietly for a moment?
You may not even have had time to sit quietly (doing nothing), but it is so very important.
Take the time...right now, to just sit for a moment. Let the thoughts come, as they undoubtedly will, and take note of the sensations that pop up in your body.
Do you feel nervous? Excited? Confused? Pressured?
Each of these emotions are important and need to be explored if you're going to move ahead on this new path.
"You must embrace the true feelings you have about yourself, and then you will be able to enjoy the freedom of your new path. When you trust in the Universe all will be revealed. When you trust in yourself, your wildest dreams will come true."
You must trust your own true feelings.
No doubt the ego will have it's own opinions on the subject, but if you feel in your heart that this new beginning is the right thing to do, and you trust in yourself, your wildest dreams will come true....because you're letting go and allowing them to.
Sound too simple? But, why shouldn't it be?
In our human experience, we spend so much time making things more complicated than they are, and tend get ourselves all in a tizzy for no reason.
When we let go, however, and allow our true feelings to emerge, freedom can come into the equation. When we let go, we give the Universe the freedom to bring it's laws into play, such as the law of attraction, and the law of inspired action (we attract what we focus on, and inspiration will come when we are aligned with who we are).
Do keep in mind though, that this advice is also true in the opposite.
If you are thinking that this new beginning or opportunity is a great idea, but you are feeling worried, scared or confused, then isn't that just as important?
Why pressure yourself into doing something that you feel isn't right for you?
"Never lose encouragement for you are an enlightened being who has the ability to bring forth your true course."
Remember, the most important thing you can do, is to trust yourself.
Other people's encouragement and opinions, although helpful, can also hinder you by adding to your own confusion and uncertainty.
Have the courage to go within, trust your feelings and let go, and you might be surprised how easily things start to come together!
What are your thoughts? Are you embarking on a new beginning or had an experience like this where you needed to simply trust yourself?
Much love to you all,
